PURPOSE:To perform smooth operation by slanting an arm shaft which rotates a passing and receiving mechanism by a specific angle to a panel surface and also to a cartridge part, and passing and receiving a cartridge between the storage part and panel surface in a horizontal state. CONSTITUTION:The panel surface 53 of a retrieving device 1 slants by an angle alphato a vertical shaft 52 for good operativity. When the cartridge passing and receiving mechanism part 40 is positioned at P1 through the rotation of the arm shaft 41, surfaces of the cartridge 11 are parallel to the panel surface 53 and when the mechanism part 40 is rotated by 180 deg. to a position P2 by the arm shaft 41 to face a transportation cartridge repeating part 15, the surface A of the cartridge 11 is horizontal and the surface B is vertical. Thus, the cartridge 11 is conveyed forth and back between the mechanism part 40, and repeating part 15 and cartridge storage part 10 so that the surfaces B and A are horizontal, thus performing smooth operation.
