PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in development performance and fixability under high temp. and high humidity, and copy quality during repeated uses by using a toner contg. a fine colorant powder composed mainly of a colorant and an adhesive resin, and a fine silica powder treated with a zircoaluminum type modifier. CONSTITUTION:The toner contains the fine colorant powder composed mainly of a colorant and an adhesive resin, and a fine silica powder treated with a zircoaluminum type modifier. Said fine silica powder to be used is synthesized by the wet method and contains SiO2 in an amt. of >=80%, and it is used in an amt. of 0.01-10wt% of the toner, thus permitting the obtained toner to be prevented from deterioration of development performance and fixability under high temp. and high humidity, and copy quality during repeated uses, and to be used as a positively triboelectrifiable toner having no agglomeration tendence, and fluidity. |
