PURPOSE:To prevent agitation effect of the lubricating oil due to a cylindrical body by providing the bearing slide part with an oil groove through which oil is lifted from the lower oil storage to the bearing top by means of rotary pumping action to be fed into the upper oil storage, and thereby depressing the oil surface level. CONSTITUTION:A spiral groove 7 is in communication with a lower oil storage 9A and an upper oil storage 9B through a groove 10, a hole 8 and a groove 14 pipe 5. A hole 12 is provided in a support 3 in its OL3 position, and the upper oil storage 9B and oil storage 9a are in mutual communication via a hole 13 which is in communication to this hole 12. If a cylindrical body 1, i.e. the shaft, is rotated, the lubricating oil in the lower oil storage 9A is transported to the upper part of the bearing 2 via the pipe 5 through the pumping action of said spiral groove 7. This will depress the oil surface level down to OL2, and thereby the cylindrical body 1 can be free of being dipped in the lubricating oil. |
