PURPOSE:To manufacture a polymer filler having high stability and high fluidity, by hardening a photosetting resin composition mixed with an epoxy resin by supplying it in an atomized state into a gas medium zone exposed to ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION:One hundred pts.wt. base resin (A) composed of a compound having 2 or more polymerizable unsaturated groups in its molecule, e.g., epoxy acrylate, etc., 5-300pts.wt. vinyl monomer (B), e.g., styrene, etc., 0.1-10pts.wt. photosensitizer (C), e.g., anthraquinone, etc., and 5-400pts.wt. epoxy resin (D) are mixed together to obtain a photosetting resin composition. Then, the photosetting resin composition is atomized into an inert gas medium zone exposed to ultraviolet rays and hardended there to obtain a polymer filler of a grain size of 0.1-300mu. EFFECT:The use of the polymer filler enables one to obtain moldings having a cracking resistance and a high-strength composite structure. |
