PURPOSE:To prevent diffusion of vaporized fuel to the open air during the feed of fuel, by a method wherein a valve, opened during the feed of the fuel, is located in a breezer passage, and the other end of the breezer passage is connected between a valve and canister, being situated in a ventilation passage. CONSTITUTION:An oil feed gun 11 is inserted into an oil feed port 2, and if fuel is fed with the oil feed port 2 sealed, when a cover 32 of the oil feed port 2 is opened, a solenoid valve 31 is already opened. Thereby, air and vaporized fuel in a fuel tank 1 and an inlet pipe 3 are smoothly fed to a canister 4 through passages 24, 27 and a ventilation passage 6 along with the feed of the fuel, the vaporized fuel is adsorbed by active coal 4a, and only clean air is exhausted through an opening 42 to the open air. The feed of the fuel is completed, the cover 32 of the oil feed port 2 is closed, and this causes closing of the solenoid valve 31. |
