PURPOSE:To make such a fine cylindrical form as having no roundness in its tip end machinable so accurately, by installing a device, which machines a fine diametral work favorably in both diametral accuracy and axial circularity and also machines an end face of the work flatly, in an electric-discharge machine. CONSTITUTION:In this electric-discharge machine, there are provided with a tool electrode 2 holding a work 1, an electrode rotating device 4, an electrode transfer device 5 moving the electrode 2 in a vertical direction, a position reading device for the electrode 2, a block 7 discharging the work 1 and a work tank. In addition, in this unit, there are provided with stages 10 and 11 supporting the work tank and capable of moving in two directions orthogonalized inside a plane surface, reading devices 14 and 15 reading each position of these stages 10 and 11, a device detecting the work under machining and a computer 21 controlling movements of the electrode 2 and these stages 10 and 11. And, the electrode 2 is rotated and simultaneously moved in the axial direction, making the work tank move in two directions orthogonalized inside a plane surface, and the end face and outer circumference of the work 1 are discharged with the block 7 and machined. |
