PURPOSE:To make preexposure possible with simple constitution to obtain copies of uniform quality by attaching a dummy original to the exposure start position and attaching a reflecting plate for preexposure to the opposite direction. CONSTITUTION:A dummy original 38 is attached in a prescribed position to the exposure start direction from an original platen 31. A reflecting plate 39 is attached in a prescribed position to the exposure end direction from the original platen 31. A slit exposure position is set to a position corresponding to the reflecting plate 39 to perform preexposure to a photosensitive drum 1, and the slit exposure position is set to a position corresponding to the dummy original 38 to control a device for keeping the image quality. Thereafter, an original is subjected to slit exposure. |
