PURPOSE:To enhance the filtration ability of the titled machine by crossing fine cut stripes cut on the contact surface between threads of a spiral cylindrical body to form fine pores for passing a liq. to be filtered in the filter of a filter machine for purifying water, etc. CONSTITUTION:Sewage, oil, etc. are charged into a filter machine 4 from a feed port 5 of a liq. to be filtered, passed through the fine pores 3 of a filter 1 which is furnished in the filter chamber at the central part of the filter machine which is separated by a filter chamber partitioning plate 6 by the pressure generated by a pump 10 which is separately provided, filtered, and charged into the filter 1. The liq. is returned to a liq. tank 9 from a liq. filter medium circulating port 7 through a circulating pipe 8, and charged again into the filter machine 4, until the liq. is cleaned. When the liq. is cleaned, a valve 17 is closed, a valve 18 is opened, and the liq. is discharged to the outside of the filter machine 4 from a liq. discharge port 11.
