The regulating valve is provided with a thrust piece (51) which is adjusted in dependence on the difference between the desired and actual values of the temperature. The thrust piece (51) rests against an end face of a spring-loaded sensor pin (11). The thrust piece (51) is connected to a gear (5). The other end face of the sensor pin (11) is provided with a valve plate for opening and closing the valve. The gear (5) is driven by a motor (6) which can be controlled in steps or by means of pulses. The pulses are emitted by a microprocessor (7) which can be programmed with different temperatures and times and is connected to a temperature sensor. <IMAGE>
