PURPOSE:To improve the gas permeability, and to realize the energy saving by executing an up-draft from a grate down-draft of a sintering pallet to a sintered raw material of the time of charging, or a packing layer of before an ignition is executed after the raw material has been charged, when charging the sintered raw material to the sintering pallet. CONSTITUTION:A sintered raw material is cut from a drum feeder 1, dropped through a sloping plate 2, and supplied to a sintering pallet 3. In this case, it is charged by blowing up air from a window box 4 to a dropped raw material 5, and a sintered packing layer 7 before it is ignited by an ignition furnace 6. As for a blow-up gas, a hot air which has collected heat of a high temperature exhaust gas exhausted from a sintering furnace is used.
