A mixing valve has two inlets 3 and 4, and an outlet 5 fitted with a nozzle 6, a fixed tubular plug 9, a sleeve 10 axially and rotatably movable on the plug 9, ports 11 and 12 in the plug wall, and ports 13 and 14 in the slide wall, one on each side of a vertical diametrical line (10a), Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown), and sealing rings 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 fitted in circumferential grooves in the slide. The slide 10 is moved by a handle 22 fitted in a cap 29 connected to the sleeve by a pin 24. The plug 9 may be mounted so as to be rotatable, with the sleeve 10 axially movable, and each can be fitted with a separate operating handle.</p> |
