PURPOSE:To quicken the print speed sufficiently and to save memories by using a retention memory storing content of copy at multi-copy also as a multi ple address transmission memory storing contents of transmission at multiple address transmission. CONSTITUTION:In case of multi-copy at first, a repeat number (n) is stored in an RAM 52, and after data from a read section 100 is converted into an intermediate code, the code is stored in a picture memory 10. When the storage for one page's share of an original is finished, the information is read from the memory 10, converted into a video signal by a decoder 45 and recorded by a laser printer 200. When the recording of one page is finished, the repeat number (n) is decreased by 1 and the operation above is repeated for (n) times. In case of multiple address transmission, an MODEM 30 and an NCU 31 are set with respect to the 1st destination, the data stored in the picture memory 10 is read, converted into an MH code or an MR code and transmitted to a line 400. The operation above is executed as to all destinations.
