摘要 PURPOSE:To increase combustion efficiency due to reoxidation of unburnt constituent discharged from a catalytic mat by a method wherein the secondary catalytic body of a cloth type, having a fixed interval for the front surface of the catalytic mat and a fixed opening hole angle, is provided. CONSTITUTION:When the catalytic combustion becomes stationary condition on the catalytic mat 8, radiation heat is radiated from the surface of the catalytic mat 8 and the secondary catalytic body 10 provided at the front surface of the catalytic mat 8, is heated. At this time, the opening hole angle of the secondary catalytic body 10 is 70% or more and it has about 20-30mm distances from the catalytic mat 8, therefore, the catalytic mat 8 does not receive the diffusion resistance of the air for combustion, and so, the catalytic combustion at the catalytic mat 8 never being suffered any affection. Even when the catalytic combustion on the catalytic mat 8 becomes stational condition and the discharge of the unburnt constituent is generated about 5% constantly, however, they are reoxidated on the secondary catalytic body 10, having an activation temperature by radiation heat from the catalytic mat 8. According to this method, the combustion efficiency may be increased.
