发明名称 COMPOSITE FERRITE MAGNETIC HEAD
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a composite ferrite magnetic head which can decrease the recording current in the stage of recording and can prevent the decrease in the reproduction efficiency in the stage of reproduction by combining a ferrite material having large specific resistance with a ferrite material having large saturation magnetic flux density and magnetic permeability. CONSTITUTION:Head chip pars 5, 6 forming a magnetic gap 3 are formed of a ferrite material having high saturation magnetic flux density and high magnetic permeability, and other magnetic circuit constituting parts 7, 8 are formed of the ferrite material having the specific resistance larger than the specific resistance of the parts 5, 6. These head chip parts are integrally joined via an inter-diffusion layer 10. The smaller recording current is required in the stage of recording with the simple construction similar to the construction of a magnetic head consisting of ferrite alone by the above-mentioned construction. the reduction in the size of a VTR device, the economization of the electric power thereof and the simplification of the circuits are resulted therefrom. The decrease in the reproduction efficiency owing to the eddy current loss in the stage of reproduction is prevented as well.
