PURPOSE: A probe of a voltage tester is provided to prevent an accident from occurring because of the exposed probe while detecting voltage through improving the probe. CONSTITUTION: Of a probe of a voltage tester, if a force is not imposed on a probe(60), the state between the probe(60) and a stopper(54) remains electrically open by the force of a return spring(62). So, except for the testing period, power is not given outside the insulation body(52) maintaining an electrically safe state. If a force is imposed on the probe(60) during the testing, the return spring(62) is compressed retracting the probe(60) contacting the stopper(54) electrically and the stopper(54) is supported elastically by a supporting spring(56). Thus, as power is delivered from the probe(60) to a voltage tester(50), voltage testing is possible. And after the force is released, the probe(60) returns to the original position by elastic restitution of the return spring(62) and the probe(60) and the stopper(54) becomes open again.
