In order to receive and comminute branches, brush (STR) or the like into a kind of mulch, there is provision also to connect, in a manner known per se, in addition to a comminution device (2, 3), a drawing-in device (EZ) in front of a container (13). The said drawing-in device (EZ) consists here essentially of a rack which is formed by hydraulically controllable rockers (5) and prongs (4) and feeds the material (STR) lying on the floor (E) or in a special container (26) into the region of the drawing-in shaft (S). <IMAGE>
