A method for generating a password with a Korean word and a Korean keyboard is provided to generate the easily remembered password by using the Korean word, generate an enormous number of passwords by using a restricted Korean word list, and generate the password having high security without depending on a Korean code. A user selects a Korean word, the length of a password, and a type of Korean and English keyboards(101). A key is converted into an ASCII(American Standard Code for Information Interchange) character of the English keyboard when the user inputs the Korean word in first, middle, and final phoneme order in the Korean keyboard(102). The password is generated by combining characters converting the Korean word with the ASCII codes(103). The Korean word is selected by making the user select the Korean word from a Korean word list or input the Korean word. The length of the password is selected by fixing the length of the password to a predetermined length, using a random number, or receiving the length from the user.
