PURPOSE:To miniaturize an image former by omitting a housing space for dry battery by using the attachment space of a cassette. CONSTITUTION:A cassette housing 2 is provided in the image former body 1, and a ribbon cassette 3 is detachably housed through a port 4 in the housing 2. Guiders 18 to be fitted into winding cores 6 and 7 housed in the cassette 3 and to guide them in an inserting or drawing manner toward the axial direction are provided. The ribbon cassette 3 is supported detachably along the axial direction of the cores 6 and 7 by means of the guiders 18. Since dry batteries 24 are housed in the guiders 18, the portion not to be utilized in the attachment space of the ribbon cassette 3 can be effectively utilized as the housing space of the dry batteries 24. |
