PURPOSE:To aim at enhancing the cooling effect of a convection cooling type blade, by providing an upper limit wall in a passage into which cooling fluid is fed and which extends heightwise of the blade, and by forming an additional passage between the upper limit wall and the tip end wall of the blade. CONSTITUTION:A passage into which cooling fluid is fed through a blade root section 3 and which extends heightwise of a blade, is terminated in the intermediate section of the blade, and is provided with an upper limit wall 14. An additional passage 6 is defined between the upper limit wall 14 and the blade tip end wall 15. Fine holes 2 are formed in a partition wall 11 between the passage 14 and a leading edge side passage 5 subject the leading edge of the blade to impingement cooling. With this arrangement cooling fluid may be efficiently used with no blow-out holes for forming a cooling fluid film being formed in the outer surface of the blade. |
