PURPOSE:The titled polymer providing an anionic exchange membrane usable industrially under severe conditions, having durability, comprising a main chain consisting of a perfluorocarbon polymer chain, to which a pendant chain containing a specific atom group at its end is bonded. CONSTITUTION:For example, a perfluorocarbon polymer wherein a pendant chain containing a halosulfonyl group at its end is bonded to a main chain consisting of a perfluorocarbon polymer chain to give a fluorocarbon polymer, which is reacted with an amine such as tetraethylenetetramine, etc., and the prepared polymer is reacted with an alkylating agent such as methyl iodide, etc., to give the aimed polymer wherein a pendant chain containing an atom group shown by the formula (R<1> is lower alkyl; aromatic group, etc.; R<2> is H, lower alkyl, etc.; R<3> is lower alkyl; R<4> is H, quaternary NH4 group-containing alkyl; a is 2-5; Z is pair ion of quaternary ammonium ion) at its end is to a main chain consisting of perfluorocarbon polymer chain bonded. |
