PURPOSE:To enable installation space of a casing to be markedly reduced, by providing a paper-supplying cassette at an upper part of the casing. CONSTITUTION:The paper-supplying cassette 20 and a paper-supplying roller 22 are provided at upper parts of the casing, and a paper-feeding part 18 is provided at a lower part. Since the cassette 20 is provided at the upper part of the casing 1, the installation space of the casing 1 can be markedly reduced. In the U-turn of a paper 26 from the upper to the lower side, the paper 26 is moved sideways by a slant surface 33 provided on the inner surface of at least one of guide plates 28, 29 provided on the outside of a paper guide 23, and is put into order by a reference surface 32. When using other paper, the paper is inserted through a manual insertion port 31. When foreign matter is dropped from the port 31, the foreign matter can be prevented from entering into the casing 1, since an inner guide plate 27 is extended downward. |
