PURPOSE:To make the titled array sensor to be operated by a clock in a speed being 1/3 of that of a conventional sensor and to extract, e.g., R, G, B signals in parallel by providing transfer channels by the number of kinds of filters in a photoelectric conversion array sensor where >=2 kinds of filters are arranged sequentially to each photo cell. CONSTITUTION:The R, G, B, filters are mounted sequentially to the cell 2 on a charge storage section 1. All electric charges of the charge storage section 1 are erased by a reset pulse, and the electric charge is transferred to channels 4-6 from the cell 2 via a gate 3 by a shift pulse after the exposure of a required time. In this case, the electric charge in the cell existing at the leftmost position where the R filter is mounted is transferred to the left end bit of the channel 4, and the electric charge of the 2nd cell mounted with the R filter is transferred to the 2nd bit of the channel 4. The electric charge of the cell mounted with the filter G and of the cell mounted with the filter B is transferred similarly to the left end bit, 2nd bit... of the channels 5, 6 respectively. Then the content of the channels 4-6 is shifted simultaneously to right (or left) by the common clock pulse to obtain the R, G, B parallel signals.
