<p>PURPOSE:To make a transparent spacer on the lower base plate of a transparent key input section at the upper section of a display section inconspicuous so as to realize obvious display, by making the refractive index of the transparent spacer equal to those of the upper and lower base plates. CONSTITUTION:Displaying data necessary for making input are sent from a controller 9 to a display driving section 8 and displayed in the picture of a display panel section 6, and displaying position of the panel section 6 is depressed by finding necessary keys from the displayed content. When the displaying position is depressed, a base plate 1a of the position is deformed and transparent electrodes 2a and 2b formed at the position of base plates 1a and 1b are contacted with each other. At this moment, the detected panel is sent to a key input section 5 from a detecting circuit section 7 and the section 7 detects the input position from a pulse received from the electrode 2b and the timing of the pulse and informs the controller 9 of the input position. The controller 9 compares the input position and designated content of the display data with each other and shifts the operation to those corresponding to the key. The refractive index of a spacer 11 on the base plate 1b of the device section 5 is made to equal to those of the base plates 1a and 1b so as make the spacer 11 inconspicuous.</p> |
