PURPOSE:To speedily obtain a printed document, by a system wherein in the case where an inputted composition is to be confirmed, depressing a confirmation printing key switch of an input device results in that the control of a printer by a controller is switched from normal printing to high-speed printing. CONSTITUTION:When it is desired to confirm the composition already inputted into a memory 5, the confirmation printing key switch 12 is depressed, whereby a signal is inputted to a microcomputer 4 to switch a control-switching means 16 to a high- speed controller means 15. By the means 15, a controlling signal for doubling the speed of a printing head moving motor 6 is outputted to a motor solenoid driver 9, while a controlling signal for reducing the head current passing time and pulse period to 1/2 of original values is outputted to a head driver 11. By this, the printing speed can be doubbled. However, since the current passing time for a heater in a printing head 10 is reduced to one half on an original value, the heating value is reduced, and printed density is lowered. |
