A layer of synthetic fibre is inlaid in at least one of the trouser legs. One or more longitudinal fins are arranged along one or both trouser legs; these also have an inlaid layer of synthetic fibre. If a chain saw comes into contact with the synthetic fibre layer, the friction between the layer and the saw reaches a level at which the saw stops. The fins can be filled with synthetic fibres e.g. nylon. The inlaid layer is pref. on the front of the trouser legs. |
