PURPOSE:To prevent clogging at a nozzle with solidification of ink by heating with a nozzle mechanism and jet discharging vaporized ink which is solid or liquid at a normal temperature, but which is sublimated or vaporized when heated, and after electrostatically charged by an electrostatic electrode, and deflected by a deflection electrode, and by causing the ink to reach to a recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A heater 12 generates heat by being applied with electricity, and the ink 2 within an ink chamber 1 and a nozzle 4 are heated and sublimated or vaporized. If piezoelectric elements 6 are applied with voltage under the above condition and minute vibration occurs, for instance, with 10kHz, vaporized ink is jet discharged from a nozzle 7, and divided into groups which synchronized with the vibration cycle of 120kHz. This divided ink, after being electrostatically charged and deflected, hits the recording paper 11 which is transmitted intermittently in the arrow direction, and printing is carried out. The ink not used for printing strikes and ink recovery plate 12, and is recovered in its vaporized state. |
