PURPOSE:To simplify a device by making the grip for holding openable and closable freely, also by making movably in the directions of the axis X and axis Y of a table. CONSTITUTION:Two pieces of plates 20, 21 are slid in the X axis 8 direction along axes 30, 31 via brackets 25, 26. Linear grooves 34a, 34b and a dog leg- shaped grooves 35a, 35b are further provided. Cam followers 41, 41c and 41a, 41d are respectively moved with the motion of a cylinder 57 along the grooves 35a, 35b and 34a, 34b and a cylinder 52 grips a plate material W by a grip 43. The positioning in the axis X8 direction is performed with the actuation of the cylinder 32 in succession, also a cylinder 57 performs the positioning in Y axis direction and the grip 43 performs the positioning in two directions by one piece. With said method therefore the device is simplified.
