An adhesive tape comprises an olefin (co)polymer support coated with an adhesive able to securely adhere to refrigerated surfaces. The new feature is the introduction of an additive capable of forming stable bonds with insulating polyurethane resin components during foaming and able to migrate to the surface of the support material. The additive, pref. having a lubricating action is chosen from fatty acid amides and reactive silicone oils, esp. condensation products of a possibly substd. mono- or polyfunctional amide, or ammonia, with stearic, erucic, oleic, palmitic, behenic, arachidonic and coconut or hydrogenated tallow oil fatty acids. The polymer support may contain 0.02-5, esp. 0.2-2 wt.% of the additive. The tape may be laminated with a metal foil on which the adhesive layer is applied. |
