The secondary suspension unit, includes air-cushioned bellows in the longitudinal centre line of the vehicle body. They are positioned between the base frame and transverse beams. The multi section rail vehicle unit for short hauls, has the vehicle body (1,2), supported by a central turntable unit. The unit has two air-cushion bellows (3,4) which are positioned between transverse beams (5,6) of rotary frame (7) and base frames (8,9). The bellows are connected with inner rims via rubber/metal connecting springs (10,11) for emergency support with the transverse beams, and via outer rims (12,13) with base frames (8,9).
