PURPOSE:To prevent the incorrect marking of a car body number of collating, operating, and deciding a number to be applied to the car body based on the production information of a car using a production control computer and marking the result on the car body using a robot. CONSTITUTION:For a car body 1 that was carried, first of all, a sensor 4 reads the code mark of the car body 1 and senses the production information recorded on this code mark. This signal is input to a production control computer 2. Thiscomputer 2 collates the corresponding car body number with the storage contents of memory based on the code mark and operates and decides the corresponding car body number. The signal from the computer 2 is output to a robot for making the car body number with a laser printing means 6. The robot prints the car body number on the car body by using a laser irradiator 11 provided on the tip of an arm 10. |
