PURPOSE:To dismiss the fear that a momentary recording chance is missed even in the system where the unloading state is set in the stop mode, by press-fixing a pinch roller to a capstan to set the recording mode when a release operation is performed in the recording holding mode. CONSTITUTION:When a recording operation is performed in the stop mode, a pinch roller arm 41 is stopped in the position where a pinch roller 42 and a capstan 43 are kept apart from each other though the second loading is performed similarly to the reproducing operation, and this state is defined as the recording holding mode. When a pause release operation is performed, the pinch roller 42 is press-fixed to the capstan 43 to set the recording mode. If a stop operation is performed in the recording or reproducing mode, unloading operation is performed by the operation opposite to the second loading operation to set the stop mode. When an eject operation is performed in this stop mode, unloading is performed by the operation opposite to the first loading operation, and a cassette holder is ejected up continuously. |
