Disclosed is a can lid capable of preventing bulge defects and leakage during transportation by improving resistance against pressure. In the can lid, the curvature radius (R3) of a first curved portion (18) is between 1.2 to 4.0 mm, the curvature radius (R4) of a second curved portion (19) is between 0.6 to 3.0 mm, the angle (?) between a common tangent (A) of a shoulder (7) and the first curved portion (18), and a panel (2) is between 55 and 70°, the maximum distance (L1) from the common tangent (A) to the second curved portion (19) is between 0.3 to 0.6 mm, the maximum distance (L2) from a common tangent (B) of the second curved portion (19) and an inner bottom surface of a countersink (5) to the first curved portion (18) is 0.4 to 0.7 mm, the curvature radii (R1 and R2) of the inner bottom surface of the countersink (5) are not greater than 0.75 mm, and when a panel depth (P) is defined by the vertical dimension from the top point of an area from the shoulder (7) to a curl (8) to the surface of the panel (2), the ratio (P/D1) of the panel depth (P) to the external diameter (D1) of the panel (2) is not smaller than 10.17%, and the whole height of the can lid is not greater than 7.2 mm.
