The contact wire (1) is connected, by means of a contact wire clamp (4), to a hanger (3), formed by a wire, using a loop (3a) which is suspended from a second loop via which the hanger (3) is suspended from the carrying cable (2) by means of a carrying cable clamp (5). The carrying cable clamp (5) is formed by a wire element made of resilient material which is shaped in the centre to form a loop (5a) from which the loop (3a) of the hanger (3) can be suspended, the ends (5b, 5c) of the wire element being of helical construction in order to surround the carrying cable (2). <IMAGE>
