PURPOSE:To reduce transmission of the varying portion of torque by constituting a torque variation absorptive clutch from an electro-viscous fluid clutch and a friction clutch equipped with clutch discs with a torsion spring interposed. CONSTITUTION:An electro-viscous clutch 16 is furnished with a chamber 28 filled with a working oil 32 and a chamber 30 with electro-viscous fluid 34, while a friction clutch 18 is equipped with clutch discs 42, 44, and these two clutches are installed parallelly and coaxially. Accordingly resonance condition because of interposition of a torsion spring can be avoided by using the electro-viscous fluid clutch around the resonance speed of the friction clutch. |
