PURPOSE:To arrange so that the injection of ink having uniform ink particle diameter may be always be possible by driving a piezo-electric element for the transmission of pressure to a pressure chamber with a driving voltage having a pulse width variation to a change in a driving cycle based on printing information. CONSTITUTION:The period of printing information is assumed to be T1, T2 and T3musec and these periods T1, T2 and T3 to have a relationship of T1>T2>T3. Thus the width of a driving voltage pulse to the piezo-electric element is changed to Tw1<Tw3<Tw2 in inverse proportion to each period (T). The diameter of ink particles to be injected from a nozzle in the periods T1, T2, T3 becomes a uniform value. Accordingly the size of printing dots to be formed on recording paper is also of a uniform value. |
