A cover for an electromagnetic relay (2) which possess one or more relay armatures (3). The cover means is arranged to form detachable splash and dust protection for the interior of the relay. The cover means (1) has further a protective portion (6) made of a flexible material, which extends close to and above the relay armatures (3) so that an outside pressure on the protective portion (6) can bend down a relay armature (3) towards its associated relay contact (4). A frame (7) is further fixedly secured to the cover means (1), the frame (7) having lugs or projections (8) corresponding to the number of relay armatures (3), each of said lugs or projections being plastically bendable towards the protective portion (6) and the relay armature (3) below it in order to maintain the relay armature in contact with the relay contact (4). <IMAGE> |
