PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous recording by connecting power transmission from a driving souce to a driving source to allow cutting off, making a counter shaft engaged with a counter display keep connection in the state of cut off at the time of reproduction and release cut off state when recording. CONSTITUTION:When an engaging piece 52 is engaged with the keyhole 23B of the counter display section 23 with a magnetic sheet pack 10 is inserted, recording is made from that position. A magnetic head 42 is moved by a lead screw 36, and the counter display section 23 rotates and displays maximum number of recorded tracks. On the other hand, when reproducing a magnetic sheet 12, an operation knob 72 is switched to the position of reproduction. The tapered face 64 of a holding lever 58 is engaged with the bush 47 of inner shaft of the counter 46 and the bush 47 goes on the tapered face 64, and the inner shaft of the counter 46 moves downward resisting a spring 48, and the engagement of the engaging piece 52 with the counter display section 23 is disengaged. Thereby. the magnetic head 42 is moved to a desired position, and the magnetic sheet 12 is reproduced. At this time, as the inner shaft of the counter 46 is disengaged with the counter display section 23, the number of recorded tracks does not become obscure. |
