PURPOSE:To ensure an automatic test of the facsimile terminal device, by storing the facsimile signals equivalent to a picture frame in a storage converter and with dialling of the special number for test by a telephone and returning the facsimile signal to a transmitter. CONSTITUTION:The special number of test is dialed by the telephone 11, and the converter 12 connects the facsimile terminal device 13 to the storage converter 14 with an information showing a test call. When the control device 23 identifies the test call, the picture signal of the test chart sent from the device 13 is coded with demodulation to be stored in the picture signal storing device 18. When the picture signals are stored by an amount equivalent to a picture frame, the transmission control device 15 is started to send back the stored picture signals via the decoder 21 and modulator 22. In this case, a comparison is given to the input/output test charts to carry out a test for the transmission and reception parts of the facsimile device 13. |
