PURPOSE:To prevent a blade trace from being memorized by inhibiting the part where a cleaning blade leaves an image carrier from being irradiated with light when the blade leaves the image carrier. CONSTITUTION:When the cleaning blade 8a leaves the photosensitive body 1 after copying operation, an electrostatic discharging lamp 9 is turned off to prevent the leaving position from being irradiated with light. Therefore, the trace of the blade 8a is prevented from the being memorized owing to the irradiation of the leaving position by the electrostatic discharging lamp 9. |
