PURPOSE:To facilitate loading and unloading of battery and realize more reliable connection of battery power supply by providing a contact segment having the contact area at the inner side than the end portion of upper wall which engagingly stops the end of battery to the bottom wall. CONSTITUTION:A flat battery B is inserted into a battery case 11 in such a way as being stabbed therein and it is then gradually pushed as it is fallen along a recessed portion 11a while it is being engaged with the upper wall member 13. Thereby the side edge of battery B collides with a rising portion 11b of the case 11. A contact segment 12 can be given previously an intensive spring force. When a battery is loaded, said contact segment is opposed to the battery, maintaining a high contact pressure between the battery and contact segment. Moreover, when the battery is inserted, the contact area of contact segment 12 slides with battery, resulting in the self-cleaning effect. Meanwhile, when a battery case 15 is removed for taking out the battery, the battery B is floated by a spring force of contact segment 12 and can easily be removed. |
