PURPOSE:To provide a lubricant forming a coating film having excellent heat- resistance and lubricity at the frictional surface by the frictional heat in cold working, and suitable for the cold forging of Al (alloy), by adding an alkylpentaerythritol phosphite and a phosphonic acid ester to a lubrication oil. CONSTITUTION:The objective lubricant is composed of (A) 2-25(wt)% alkylpentaerythritol phosphite of formula I (R is alkyl or alkylphenyl), (B) 3-35% phosphonic acid ester of formula II (R' is alkyl; n is 0 or 1) and (C) the rest part of a lubrication oil (e.g. mineral oil, alpha-olefin oil, monoester oil, polybutene oil, polyglycol oil, etc.). |
