FUEL CELL SYSTEM AND FUEL CELL VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence on power supply control in a fuel cell system having a motor which can be driven by power supply and can generate a regenerated power.

SOLUTION: The fuel cell system includes: a fuel cell 40 which generates electricity by an electrochemical reaction between a fuel gas and an oxidizing gas; a motor 61 which can be driven by receiving an electric power and generates a regenerative power; an inverter 60 which converts a DC power outputted from a fuel cell to an AC power for supply to the motor so as to control driving of the motor; a battery 20 which is connected to the motor in parallel to the fuel cell and can charge a fuel cell generation power and a motor regenerative power and discharge a charge power to the motor; an rpm detector 64 which detects the motor rpm; and a control device 10 which decides whether to permit stop of the control of the motor by the inverter according to the current motor rpm. The control device makes the decision by comparing the current motor rpm to a different threshold value in accordance with the fuel cell operation mode.
