PURPOSE:To prevent securely accidental locking and facilitate handling of a safety device by returning a key to the locking position and operating a locking member to withdraw the key. CONSTITUTION:A locking member 11 is disposed in recesses 3a, 3b formed on the outer surface of a cylinder outer 3 to cross the peripheral edge of a key 5. Also, the locking member 11 is movable longitudinally while being supported to engage a withdrawal blocking groove 5a formed on the side edge of the key 5 when the key 5 is inserted to a predetermined depth. Also, an operating portion 11a provided on the end is urged in the direction of said portion 11a by a spring 13 to project to the outside of a cylinder lock. And two operations of the key 5 pivotally returned and the locking member 11 movably pressed are needed to lock, and accidental locking by turning the key carelessly to the locking position and withdrawing it during running is prevented so long as said series of operations are not carried out. |
