PURPOSE:To attain the accurate drive of a counter display part in response to the feed of a magnetic head with a simple structure, by incorporating an intermittent feed means for counter shaft and a switch for stop of a motive power source to a series of a motive power transmission means. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head 30 is driven by a carriage drive member 34 provided to a gear train 36. The 7th gear 96 of the gear train 36 has a counter shaft which interlocks a counter display part of a sheet pack 10. While the 4th gear 82 contains a cam 80 in a contact enable state of feed intermittently said counter shaft and also to stop the drive of a DC motor 38. When a motor 38 is revolved, the gear 82 is sent by a pitch by a cam 80. When the teeth of the gear 82 ride on the outer circumference of the cam 80, a switch 90 is closed to stop the drive of the motor 38. This action is repeated for a slight shift of the head 30 and at the same time the counter shaft is also revolved intermittently. Thus a counter is displayed in response to the feed of the head 30. |
