The present invention relates to an improvement to retractable covers of swimming pools, consisting of arch-shaped telescopic panels. According to the invention, the cover consists of a central panel 8 and of several telescopic panels 3, 4, 5, 6 the width of which is substantially equal to half the width of the central panel; the end panels 4 and 6 each comprise a vertical panel 8 made of a flexible material, in order to be retracted under the said panels 4 and 6, and held in slides 13, 20 and 21. <IMAGE>
