PURPOSE:To prevent any furnace from being produced due to a difference between coefficients of thermal expansion of a metal engine and a ceramic mold by arranging a stainless mesh or an assembly of ceramic fibers or a laminate thereof on a side of a casting of the ceramic mold casted into part of said mold engine. CONSTITUTION:A buffer 4 is arranged on a side of an outer periphery of a ceramic linear 3 forming part of a metal engine, e.g., an exhaust port 2 of a cylinder head 1 between casted metal 8 forming the cylinder head 1 and said water periphery. The buffer is formed by a stainless mesh for example, and an outside of said mesh is covered with a ceramic material so as to prevent molten matter from entering into the mesh. Hereby, thermal stress caused due to a difference between coefficients of thermal expansion of the ceramic linear 3 and the casted metal 8 can be absorbed by the buffer 4. Thus, any crank can be prevented from being produced in the port linear 3 or the casted metal 8. |
