PURPOSE:To attempt reduction of an operator's load by making automatic clamp profile machining on a non-machinable portion of a work to be practicable by means of a control means for controlling a gate circuit based upon the detected results of a detection means and a crank level given from an input means. CONSTITUTION:When a microprocessor 23 is determined to be not clamped and a difference DELTAepsilonz to be added by means of an adder 12 satisfies the relation DELTAepsilonx<0, such a formula as; Pz (count value of reversible counter 18 showning present position of stylus 4 in Z axis direction) < Pz0 (coordinates value showing clamp level stored in memory 26) is satisfied, namely if the present position of stylus 4 drops below the clamp level, a control signal is applied to an output unit 24 an output signal (a) is set to ''0'', gate circuit 14Z goes off for stopping movement in Z axis direction and clamp profiling is performed. On the other hand, if DELTAepsilonz>=0 is satisfied during clamp profiling process, a control signal is applied to the output unit 24 to render signal (a) ''1'', thus a gate circuit 14Z is turned on and clamp profiling is released. Accordingly, load on operator for monitoring can be reduced. |
