A minting press for coins and medals or the like is proposed, which guarantees the easily checkable production of high quality minted designs while requiring little expenditure in terms of equipment and labour. It operates with a feeding device 4 for the blanks, which is arranged in relation to the minting tool 3 with a transporting direction from the rear towards the front. A loading magazine 6 is arranged at the rear end of the feeding device 4, which magazine 6 is designed as a cartridge magazine 15, 16 with a multiplicity of stacking cells 18 for the blanks. The front of the discharging device 11 for the finished parts adjoins the minting tool 3 and is connected there to a depositing and/or checking station 19, and/or can be connected there to an additional depositing station 22. <IMAGE>
