The device for clamping notepaper serves primarily to clamp the notepaper at table level with only one hand using a magnet and to make it possible to write on the paper without the latter sliding out. In addition, the notepaper is clamped in a more slide-proof manner using a magnet by perforating and scoring the magnetisable plate onto which the paper is clamped, and by providing it with a textile coating or a layer of rubber.
