PURPOSE:To house a disk while the disk is protected in a disk holder, by forming side edges of a shelf facing a disk removing mechanism and a reproducing unit by using an opened platy material. CONSTITUTION:A shelf 10 is prepared by using an almost square platy material, from which one corner is extensively cut off in a triangular shape. Peripheral walls 11a and 11b which are coupled with each other are provided at the front edge and one side edge, so that the rear edge and the other edge can become opened edges. A plate spring 12 is fixed to the center of the inner surface of the wall 11a at the front edge and engagers 12L and 12R which are engaged with the engaging holes of a housing base are provided at both end sections of the outer surface of the wall 11a. Moreover, lockers 13 and 13 are separately provided on the inner surface of the other wall 11b and guide ribs 14 are provided on the surface of the shelf 10 in parallel with each other and with the wall 11a. |
